DR GEORGE JACOB

Born 15th August 1857 -

 

 

A son of William Stephen Jacob, he joined the Indian Civil Service. He married twice. By his first wife, Emma Christina Clarke (1855-1885), whom he married in November 1880, he had one daughter Ivy Morna, born in 1883. She married Francis Griffiths of the Indian Police on 12th December 1906. They had two children, Daphne and John. Emma died in October 1885.

By his second wife Emily Ada Myers he had two sons:
