STEPHEN JACOB CSI

A son of William Stephen Jacob, he was born on 31st October 1850 and died in December 1898. On 10th December 1872 he married Clara Laura, daughter of Gordon Forlong of Wanganui, New Zealand. They had children:

1 Stephen Hector, Indian Civil Service, born 8th March 1874 and died without issue in 1908.
2 Philip Gordon, born 14th May 1875. He worked for the Indian Finance Department.
3 Eva Clara, who married Cyril Charsley Frewer.
4 Elizabeth Ismay, born in 1878
5 Charles Theodore, born 16th February 1881.6
6 Clyde William, Indian Civil Service, born 16th August 1882.
7 Lucy Constance, born 6th March 1884.
8 George Archibald Furlong, born 16th September 18--.
9 Ansty Ross, born 4th October 1893, killed at the battle of the Somme.
10 Septimus Gordon, composer, born 4th July 1895.
