(attested by three witnesses).... whereby he devised to Jane his wife for and during the term of her natural life ALL
that messuage, farm and lands, situate, =

and being in the parish of Lyminge, in the coun=
ty of
Kent, and then in the occupation of E(?)
Hooper the younger, subject to and charged during his wife’s life with =
the
yearly rent of £6, clean of all taxes and deductions to his son Steven Hooper, and from and after=
the
decease of his wife the testator devised the said mess=
uage
etc to his sons Anthony Hooper=
and Steven Hooper, equally to be divi=
ded
between them, share and are alike to hold as tenants in common. Proved at London 8th July 1752.
NB The testators widow Jane Hooper is lately dead, his s=
on Anthony is living. His son Steven survived him (the testator=
) and
died some years since, intestate, leaving his son Herbert Hooper his=
only
son and heir. The said Herbert=

now aged about 18 years.
