CAROL CASS

 

I first met Carol Cass in 1994 in Berlin, where I was working and she had been living for several years. She has an amazing talent as a singer, with a vocal range that impresses, and is without doubt one of the best performers I have been privileged to meet. She could enthrall and control an audience with the minimum of effort. She quite simply had what the Germans call 'Ausstrahlung', which I will inadequately translate as charisma. After leaving Berlin Carol went to live and work in Budapest and has recently returned to the USA to live and perform.
