HENRY PRIESTLEY JACOB
Born 4th July 1844 - Died 11th October 1894
A son of George Andrew Jacob, he was born on 4th July 1844, baptized on 6th September of that year and died on 11th October 1894. He joined the Indian Educational Dept. He married Mary, daughter of the Reverend W Oakley of Kandy, in Ceylon. They had children:
1 Arthur Leslie, Lieutenant-Colonel in Indian Army Political Depot.
2 Edith Mabel, born 20th February 1873. She married a Major Francis Henslowe, Indian Army.
3 Lilian, who married Major J Lumsden.
4 Edith, born 28th August 1878. She married Colonel Thomas Robertson MacLachlan.
