Field Marshal Sir Claud Jacob GCB GCSI KCMG (1863-1947)

He was a leading mason. I often wondered why he was photographed on several occasions with Rudyard Kipling. Possibly it was because they had masonry in common.

Lieutenant-Colonel Douglas Fernie Paton Reid CB DSM (-1963)

He was a member to my knowledge of an Indian lodge, and no doubt upon his retirement of lodges here in England.

Edward Jacob, Mayor of Canterbury (1680-1756)

He was master of his lodge in 1736.
